About Jean

Jean McLellan is a licensed real estate professional, specializing in the sale of new and previously owned homes. Jean began her real estate career in the Syracuse area. In addition to selling real estate, she was also teaching young children in the elementary grades. Her passion for education took her to the position of Elementary Principal. In order to give her undivided attention to students, parents and teachers in the district, Jean put real estate “on hold” for several years. After retiring from education, Jean went back to the other passion in her life, real estate. Since then she has been able to guide many families in finding their dream homes.

Jean is also an experienced stager, offering homeowners the ability to depersonalize their home and give it more universal appeal. Statistics show that homes in the Capital Region were on the market for an average of 65 days. The average number of days on the market for homes listed and staged by Jean is less than 21 days. Her effort prior to listing is all important in making the process smoother and less taxing for the sellers.
